About Beyond Gender UK
The podcast for British listeners
Britain is where the affirmative model of youth gender medicine was first reviewed, found wanting and reversed. Beyond Gender has interviewed many of the people who made that happen. This site gathers those episodes for a British audience.
Why a UK site
The Cass Review, the closure of the Tavistock clinic, the For Women Scotland judgment, the schools guidance, the Keira Bell case: the British story is the one the rest of the world watches. Beyond Gender has spoken to Tavistock whistleblowers, to the campaigners who brought the cases, to the clinicians who dissented and to the writers who were punished for saying so. This site puts those conversations in one place.
What you will find here
The episodes page lists every full conversation, with the British ones first. Each episode has a page with the video, a summary written for UK listeners, the guest's name and the theme. Guests have their own pages, so a listener can follow, for instance, everything the podcast has done with Tavistock staff or with British feminists. The hosts are introduced with attention to what each brings to the UK debate. New episodes appear automatically after going live on YouTube.
Point of view
The podcast and this site are gender-critical. They take the Cass Review's conclusions seriously, regard the NHS's retreat from puberty blockers as belated rather than premature, and think the British public was right to be uneasy long before the institutions admitted it.
